This could hardly be called a recipe but it gave me so much happiness this week. Nothing can beat the most simple of dishes with the best ingredients. I got a perfectly ripe heirloom tomato at the farm stand yesterday, topped it with a locally made burrata, good balsamic vinegar, and fresh basil. A sprinkle of Maldon and freshly cracked black pepper made the tomatoes sing. A good tomato is a unique, special thing. I hope everyone is taking advantage of food produce and good company this summer. xo.
